Payment and Appointments

Payment is due when services are rendered.

No-shows with no notice given, or without a reason communicated within at least 4 hours of the appointment, will be billed half the session rate.

Some insurance companies will cover my services, like SunLife, Blue Cross, and Johnson Group, but PLEASE check with your particular plan to see if they cover Master’s level counsellors. They may prefer your counsellor to be a psychologist (PhD) or a Social Worker (MSW). IF this is the case, and you have difficulty paying my full rate, please discuss alternative rates with me. I do not want you to miss out on counselling just because it is too expensive for your budget.

Alternatively, you may submit your receipts for counselling with your annual tax return as medical expenses if you wish.
